It is in full 1080P, Broadcast (Terrestrial) TV and will look spectacular.
I saw the other two threads, but this is a bit different so I thought it was o.k. to post another one. I just found out, or I would have posted this earlier.
May they continue to Rest In Peace.💔

Wonderful and deeply affecting show. A highlight for me was Yebin Mok, Gracie Gold and Ashley Cain, now coaches, performing with the young skaters of the developmental team.

Jimmy Ma, that upbeat showman, pulled out a gem of a heartfelt performnce. Maxim Naumov not only skated with appropriate emption, but also delivered a performance worthy of the occasion.

Paul Wylie took the ice! Kristi Yamaguchi grows more beautiful every year. Peggy Fleming! Amber Glenn was a standout, tfor me.

Watched when live on Peacock, rewatched today was really disappointed NBC decided to edit out parts of the tribute. 😢

I knew that was going to happen even before it happened which is why I made sure to watch it live. The show was over two hours to begin with, and then you factor in commercials into a 2 hour broadcast window, things were always going to be cut.

Yeah, it can't really be helped. The TV network has it's own programming schedule to work around.

I did notice that the commercials were repeats of the ones that were shown over and over at Worlds, so I think we can thank NBC for lining up the continuation of sponsorship.

Sofia Bezkorovainaya, lovely Junior skates her tribute to Somewhere Over The Rainbow right at the beginning; set the tone for me🥹. Posting here..

They cut out where Max was talking about his parents and their favorite song when ever they heard it they would get up and dance. And that’s music he skated to.
No, they didn't. They kept Paul Wylie's entire intro in, where he mentioned them slow dancing to it. It was short, and right after a commercial break, but it's definitely there.

Cut Performances were:
Sofia Bezkorovainaya solo
Bratti and Somerville
Scott Hamilton
Capital Theatre on Ice
Jeremy Abbott
Glowing skaters

Some famous-skater intros were cut and they had Terry Gannon do them in voiceover instead, such as Ilia Kulik's. The only cut that really surprised me was Sofia's solo. But she was on the broadcast in the Coach Inna tribute.

Overall, it lost some (a lot?) of the stillness and breathing space that the livestream has, but that was to be expected. Terry did a commendable job with what he was told to say. There was no commentary during the skating. And I must admit that the picture/sound quality on regular NBC is GREAT. Crystal clear. Nothing can compare with watching the livestream, however.

Speaking of which, the livestream from March 2nd has reappeared on the public USFS YouTube. Not sure if it's temporary or not, but here you go. I don't know if it's geoblocked for anyone since I'm in the U.S.

:thank:

If anyone wants to easily rewatch or share individual Legacy on Ice performances, all the individual program videos from the March 2nd livestream have also reappeared on the USFS YouTube channel. I'm not sure if it's forever, but I wasn't expecting them to come back at all, so I'm happy.

USFS made a LOI playlist. The full March 2nd stream is first, followed by the separate programs in the order they happened.
