Only fifth in the free skate (4th overall)? Ouch! Does anyone have details of what happened? She seemed invincible up 'til now.

At least she held on to make the Jr GP Finals by virtue of her earlier win in Andorra.

I think you're confusing Mai with Mao (her younger sister). Mao isn't skating junior GP this year, her older sister is. Mai is taller and has more trouble jumping than Mao but is more graceful (think Karen Kwan and Michelle Kwan).

No, she knows who she's talking about. Mai WAS doing JGP and did win Andorra and had a somewhat disappointing finish at her second event. At least she hung on to the final

Yes Mai was doing JGP, but I wouldn't use "invincible" to describe Mai's skating.
