The 4cc in Korea is shaping up to be the most competitive ever and will be the first time when all 3 top ladies skater faces each other. Now if only Miessner and Joannie will join!

sounds like the GPF with the addition of joannie, but i would not be at all surprised if all the big names withdraw except maybe one who will stick around for an easy win. training for worlds is top prority for most skaters at that time of year.

According to the ISU schedule, the 4CCs will be in Korea, so I think Yu-Na will be there. The "three Ms" (Miki, Mao and Meissner) all train in the US, so travel time witll probably cause them to avoid it.

Well, Mao and Miki are in Japan right now. So perhaps they will stay there until 4CCs and then travel to Europe.

I doubt that Mao and Miki both will be going to 4ccs. Probably one of them will withdraw.

Sounds great! When does it start?

Starts on 13th, February.

I did some web-searching and found that the rink is very small which can only accommodate two thousands of audience. I'm planning to go but seriously, getting a ticket will be like hitting a lottery.

I too doubt both Mao and Miki will come, and it's only been recent until Yuna made it official to participate in 4CC and I thought there's also a great chance Yuna could pull out of it herself.

But if all three appear, then what can I say.
It will be a life-time experience for the audience and I hope the love and care about figure skating will grow among Koreans, not just 'sweep every competition' type of demanding towards poor Yuna.

Mao....Right now, Mao still seems to be a bit inconsistent with her jumps, esp. 3F-3T and 3A. But it would be great if Mao can get used to competition setting a bit more using this opportunity. It would be great if we could see both clean SP and clean LP. I also feel that Mao could enhance her connection to the audience a bit more, although her musicality and lines are great.

Yuna....Yuna doesn't seem to have any serious concerns right now. She is just getting better and better in polishing up her programs. Perhaps she would like to have a clean performance at 4CC before the Worlds because she has never had one yet? I am sure that Korean audience would be extremely happy if she participates (and get very dissapointed if she doesn't).

Miki....I am very glad that her jumps are back. I also enjoyed her fire and power in her programs at Nationals. Finally, she seemed to be motivated. But I have been hoping since the last season to see the time when her posture is finally addressed. Hers is not just hunched shoulders, but with the stomach down and the neck buried in shoulders, it significantly undermines the lines of the upper body and arms in the basic cross skating. I believe that this posture that she often has especially before entering the spiral sequences really needs to be fixed:

I heard that she would work on her arms this season, but she seemed to have had other things that needed to be taken care of (e.g., mental issues etc). The thing is that she doesn't always have a bad posture. So I believe that she can fix it if she is willing to. I don't think it would be difficult to correct posture; it just takes constant care and consciousness.
