"Kimmie's Angels on Ice" benefit show will take place at the 1st Mariner Arena in Baltimore, MD, on Saturday, August 25 at 7 pm.

I am always curious about who does the actual organizing of events like this and how they go about it. Does someone get on the phone to various skaters' agents, and go from there? They must have some kind of sponsor or working budget, even for a charity event.

Kimmie says, "It’s a pretty great group of skaters, with every current champion from the U.S. and Canada. I don’t know how that happened, but its so exciting that all those skaters are coming.”

I wonder who the Canadian champions will be.

I love these pro-am exhibitions because it gives the pros (Yuka Sato ) a chance to really lay it down for the kids and show them what it's all about. I hope she does "Amazing Grace."
