Who could forget Roman Sadovsky's first time at the JGP - Lake Placid in 2012 where he surprised everybody and perhaps himself with a bronze medal. Not very big (he was just 13) but some awesome spins and very neat jumps. Thirteen years ago - hope he has not retired, just taking a break.

Fell in love with Hana here. She has her own look and special musicality. Florence is so fresh and new and the unusual musical selections from Star Wars and the speed make her so special. I miss seeing her skate - uniquely musical and subtle expression and meaning.

Thank you @labgoat for posting the skate of Mirai Nagasu at Lake Placid in 2007. That was the first JGP that I ever attended in person. My late wife and I had fallen in love with Mirai's skating at Nationals in Spokane the previous January and went to Lake Placid just to see Mirai skate. We also went to Gdansk in 2007 to see Mirai skate in the JGP Final so we were there for Adam's skate too. Thanks for reminding me of lovely memories.

Stephen Gogolev at his first JGP at Bratislava 2018 as a 13 year old where he won gold link. He landed 3 quads including a quad lutz. What a journey he has had. So happy to see him get his health and confidence back. He is very special
