Well done. Nice flow, good lines, good spins, he presented this program well. Soft, lyrical skating. A pleasant surprise I would say.

I am not sure how he ended up in this warm up groups, since it was supposed to be based on ISU rating... his level is not that bad, but it's nothing special either. Nothing really stood out about his skating.

Weird skate for him, really messed up the quad and then landed beautiful 3A. I cannot remember the last time he landed 3A at the competition at all. Got exhausted after them and missed holding the positions in spins long enough. :(

It's a very nice upbeat program which suits him perfectly and he can sell it very well.

Overall it was rather well done, but better than at GP events, with better flow, attack and power, shame about 3L...

The program flows perfectly from start to finish, but he isn't very expressive. Excellent edgework and good posture and use of upperbody.

He is light years ahead of the rest of the field here. Granted, the choreography is rather straightfoward and he isn't very artistic, but he is just HERE. His power and attack are incredible.

Actually, the program isn't that bad is a good poweful piece for him, but with so many mistakes, he should loose to Tischendorf IMHO.

It was rather meaningless rush for the elements, no attention to lines, posture and some such. But given how the others skated it shouldn't matter much.

All jumps were saved, but he did save them... nothing special, but once again compared to the rest... he has good basics too. Nice flow, but supremely boring program.

Really well skated program, and well constructed too, suits him well. Highlight of the event IMHO, but it's still mindblowing that he actually defeated Joubert.
