Olga Markova was from Russia. The 2 programs I remember best, are Harlem Nocturne (wearing the shiny shift style gold dress with the long black gloves) and Miss Saigon (wearing the gold dress with the long black single layer fringe on the skirt). She was quite interesting to watch ... little short on expression ... pretty good technician. I remember her saying she really wanted to do choreography. I think she turned pro in 1998 or so. Glad to see she is still involved in the skating world. :)

My mom and I used to love to watch Olga skate! I think she was one of the first ladies to do a spiral where she put her leg straight up in front of her - showing amazing flexibility and control. I missed seeing her after she retired, we always loved to cheer her on. I too, am glad to see her still involved in elite skating.

uh-oh

I read this...
Mabee's landed jumps in the long were...
1 loop
3 axle 3 toe
3 lutz 2 toe
3 axle
3 lutz
3 loop instead of 3 salchow

I did not read how the rest of the program was but all of the PCS are pretty much the best so far.

WOW!!! Triple axel, triple toe?!!

And smart too replacing the sal, which is the jump he hates the most, w/another shot and sucessful one too at the loop.

Way to go Chris!!!
