As was previously mentioned, PCS is scored for the non-jump elements. Jeff has superior spins (though Evans are also pretty good). Footwork. Transitions. Program execution. CHOREOGRAPHY!Of course he deserves those high PCS. He has harder jumps, he did 4toe+3toe. What did Jeff do? Not a single 3A????
Give me a break, Mao can actually beat Jeff if you compare both artistry and technical ability.
I really loathe Jeff. He really drags down skating.
If he can't jump, why doesn't he do ice dancing? This is sport, folks. You can't just posture around the ice .
Like others have said, you're entitled to your opinion. However, that doesn't mean you can force it in our faces trying to make others change their minds to say 'oh, I guess Jeff is really just an absolute crap skater. I'll stop liking him now and only like those who jump like someone's shooting at their feet. Whatever was I thinking?'

Yes, he definitely needs to get the axel more consistent. But the guy hasn only been back on the ice for what, 2 months? And it was on the axel that he injured himself in the first place. So For me, I think it's a wee bit acceptable that it's not 100% at the moment (I know, it's never been 100%, but still!)

PCS is much to do with jumps.
Joubert and Mao has the highest PCS of this season.
If skaters jump abilities are on same level, other variables will matter.
He never really has a 3A, how can you expect him to get one in two months?? LOL.
Of course I am not trying to change those who like him. But my point is judges should never elevate such axel-less skater to elite status. His medal history is a shame to figure skating.
He can always do show, or he can medal in ladies' event, but please please don't let this guy shamelessly occupy world podium without a simple 3A!!!!

I would say Evan Lysacek's inexplicable PC scores show PCS are only a result of jumps and being able to do a quad. However he received those inexplicable PC scores even before he was doing a quad. Tragic and truly sad for the sport, but true.

Elevated such axel-less skater. What are you talking about? Buttle earn his points just like every other skater. The whole point of COP is to have fair judging for the skaters. There should be no elevating or putting down based on jump content alone. Let the points add as they add and leave it at that.

The real tragic is to reward axel-less skaters like Buttle. I mean, I have nothing against him, and I actually enjoy his LP a lot. But without jumps, I don't think he deserves medal at world stage. If judges keep on rewarding him, it will only kill the sport.
I mean, if you want to see beautiful programs, there are a lot of shows. But figure skating is still sport.
