Men's LP

Wow, what a result for Bradley.

Even if Chan and Ponsero pass him, he still medals, landed quads in both programs, and beat Lysacek in both programs and overall.

OH. MY. GOD! WHAT AN UPSET!! Ryan Bradley beats Evan Lysacek overall.

Evan was given a score of 3.5 over Shawn the PSCs.

That is totally wrong! But Sawyer suffered from skating in the first group and being relatively unknown (and Evan is perenially held up in the PCS).

Oh, no, Patrick falls on the second 3A!

I have a feeling Evan might not make the worlds team...

Chan!!
handdown on 3axel
3flip-3toe
3lutz
falls on 3axel, will count as a sequence..
3sal
3loop
oh, slipped on entry into lutz
step out of double axel

He must be so disappointed...
Certainly not as good as the magnificient short program of his..

Patrick Chan, a shaky skate. A very messy music.

I find her axel jump is Evan-like, quite low. His 2nd 3A should be downgraded.

I think Patrick will probably also lose to Shawn Sawyer in the LP (OMG, what if Shawn Sawyer wins the LP, wouldn't that be phenomenal?!). Patrick just stumbled in the footwork leading up to a 3z, no 3z at all. And he stepped out of the next jump. Gosh, he might fall out of the medals stand.

No, no, NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

urg. thanks so much for the pbp's.

Noooo. Patrick's program was so beautiful...only wish he hadn't made those mistakes...

Mao Asada should enter Men's event. She will have 10 times more success than Michelle Wie.

Noooo Chan!

Other than the jumps I quite enjoyed that. It might not (most likely won't) happen but I'd still like him to medal.

Whoa, still in first?! He sounds pretty surprised, I am a bit too.

Go Ponsero!!!

Aren't there 3 spots for US men? How can he do worse than 3rd?? But he definitely seems to be regressing this season, rather than progressing...

Oh no! I didn't expect a meltdown from Patrick Chan. I'm so sad for him. :(

i'm so bummed about/for Chan - but, still early in the season, so here's hoping he picks himself up and skates great next time!

Please, Yannick, believe in yourself and trust your technique! *hopes*

OMG, Patrick still in first place!!! The SP score really helped. He shrugged with total relief (his coach yells out "We'll deserve it next time *chuckle*" as the camera fades to focus on Ponsero).

Oh, yeah, and the monitor made the mistake of identifying Ponsero as Chan, and some audience members are laughing.

Horrible opening jump from Ponsero! Big fall with his head rolling on the ground, hope he's okay! Great next jump though.

I think Shawn Sawyer just won the LP! I hope this gives him lots of confidence going forward -- if only he skated a better SP!

OMG - i'm more than surprised -- although, I'm not watching so....

Do you think Chan's placement seems ok/fair? I'm happy for him, don't get me wrong...just wondering
