Men's LP

Not too bad for NURMENKARI. didnt get a good landing on 3 axel but think it was all the way around. Seems a little cautious though. They are showing him on Finnish tv now but slightly delayed.

He was really cautious at the beginning! But after a while he seemed to feel the energy from the crowd and he was smiling all the way though his jumps. Sweet :). Must be fun (but stressful) to skate in front of a home crowd.

*sigh* I'm SO SAD for SCHULTHEISS. He's such an entertaining, interesting skater with such an appealing look, but he made way too many mistakes on the jumps, too many popped triples into singles, step-outs, and sluggish landings. It's unfortunate because I enjoy watching him!

Oh, moment of truth for Yannick . . . please skate a perfect LP!

Wow, Ponsero!!! :party2: Hope the little errors don't cost him a medal.

Anyone else find "Summertime" a little weird for ice skating... in January?

Oh, thank goodness, Ponsero! New Season Best LP! Best he's ever skated that program!

I wish Ponsero had done that yesterday, he surely would have been in the top 3... Now lets wait.......

It may not have been the LP skate that Kristoffer needed, but I applaud him for how far he has come after such a serious injury earlier in the season that really limited his training. This was skated better here than earlier in the Grand Prix season. I  Kristoffer's fun style . . . he's one of my favorite European men! GO KOFFE!

Oh my, this group is going to give me a heart attack! . . . all my favorites skating back to back.

That skate should get Lutai named to the Russian World team. I really enjoyed him! Such a cutie!

Lutai missed the 1st 3 axel but got the 4 toe then the other 3 axel in combination and landed most jumps but looked very slow at the end. 132.82

Wow, wonderful skating by the young Spaniard, Fernandez!!! He's so feline - and such silky spins. And what a beautiful young man (love the hair).
