I agree. I was waiting for a spiral and then I remembered it was Takahiko and not Sasha Cohen.
It was a messy program but at least he stayed vertical. Kozuka joins the list of skaters that I'm rooting for next year! :thumbsup:

Definitely something to marvel. You don't see that too often and outside eagles are more popular too. Kudos to Kozuka and his lovely usage of transitions.

well Oda can't be placed lower than 7th. and Kozuka 6th the lowest he can place now. So the total number is 13...

Nah, it's normal. IMHO, Sasha's R+J had epic of all sorts written all over it, so everyone after using the Nino Rota music is going to be dealing with the same thing that we both did, albeit not looking for a skirt or a spiral sequence.

Same here. His spread eagles are among the best.
If there's one thing I'll take away from Men's this season, it's that Kozuka is criminally underscored by the judges.

There are 3 skaters left (incl. Verner). The worst Kozuka can do is 6th and the worst Nobu can do is 7th... 6+7 = 13 so yes 3 spots for Japan
Wow, until now (the doubled flip)I thought Verner would go in the lead, even with the 3lz and 1t on the combo (same kind of mistakes as Chan but with a quad). I think the 2t might have lost him a medal.
