Men's Short Program.. Tuesday 16th, 7:15PM EST

Wow about Brian... Such a low low low score. That was a disaster. Will he even bother to skate the freeskate?

Takahiko: artisticalluy the best SP I've seen him skate since his GPF Take Five program! Too bad about the two-foot on the triple axel; other than that; amazing stuff!!!

Edit: I think Takahiko's score should have been highter  not ahead of Lambiel, but closer, at least in the running for medals/top 5.

How was Kozuka? I can't watch it on tv.. I live in WA state and we don't get to watch it until tonight.. like 10-11:30.. it sucks! I live like 2-3hrs from Vancouver!!

good job to Kozu and so heartbroken about Joubert  I'm so sad for him that I want to give him a hug and tell him everything is going to be ok.

I'm pleasantly surprised the judges didn't go nuts in giving PCS to hold Joubert up, but I'm still peeved he got higher PCS than his countryman, Florent Amodio. Even on his best day, he is not a better skater in the PCS realm than Amodio. And here, he wasn't even close.

Oh Kozuka. You do not skate to Hendrix unless you can give into that wild abandonment of spirits that Jimi's music exudes. Massive fail on interpreting the music. Horrible choice for him.

How could you say that a skater who will likely place 19th in the SP after hoping for medal chances should be scored lower..

gosh, I hadn't realized is gonna be 19th...I was already shocked for 10th partial...

his transitions were the gun here and there and hip movement...
