Men's Short Program.. Tuesday 16th, 7:15PM EST

He doesn's show much emotion does he? No nerves, and he didn't seem thrilled with a 90+...maybe he was trying to beat the 100+ from Russian Nats

I counldnt watch amodio here ,so sad.

but WOW for plushy.

he seemed to be nervous, but he landed a quad. this is his strongness

Who do you think will beat Plushy in the PCS marks? The fact that he was given a 6.8 in transitions means the judges are learning.

Okay be back for Stefan & Javi in a bit!

Ladies and Gents, the competition is over. They shouldn't even bother make him skate a Long Program and make everyone else skate for silver and bronze...

now what would be the fun in that?

Yes, he looked a bit slow covering the ice and also in the spins. 6s for transitions seems fine, but 8s for Interp? Hardy the most engaging program of the night so far, and not much to shoot either.

scores are OK. acutually i am really surprised with 6,80 for transitions and 7,85 for coreo. i think thats really OK, don´t see inflation there. i am proud of the judges!

LMAO at the negative Plushy comments, you know you are good when your detractors just throw bitter with no substance bashings at you. The guy really delivered.. but the last 2 spins shoulnt be level 4 at all.. the footwork is quite nice but much slower than what he used to do. His axel was superb , just beautiful. I had him at 84 and Amodio at 73, honestly I was expecting waay more inflation.

Here's Plushy's TES:

Quad. Toeloop + Triple Toeloop 13.80 (+1.00) 14.80
Triple Axel 8.20 (+1.80) 10.00
Triple Lutz 6.00 (+1.20) 7.20
Change Foot Combination Spin 4 3.50 (+0.80) 4.30
Circular Step Sequence 3 3.30 (+0.70) 4.00
Flying Sit Spin 4 3.00 (+0.40) 3.40
Straight Line Step Sequence 3 3.30 (+0.60) 3.90
Change Foot Sit Spin 4 3.00 (+0.50) 3.50
Total TES: 51.10

That 3T was a little wonky.

that's +7.0 in GOE! impressive...

Exactly! That is what I saw too!

He was miffed about something before the scores even came out so it wasn't about the marks. He was miffed either about his skating or something else, it was obvious.

Holy inflation, Batman
90 !?

LOL are we back in Torino? I don't know, yes he landed his jumps, his spins aren't as good as other... at least they marked him somewhat correctly in the transitions, or lack of them. If someone is kind to remind me, has any other skater marked above 90 recently?

he was slower and looked worried, not even the in your face attitude...
*** happy tears, i cant stop crying, i dont care who beats him now, maybe all. He did his best he could.
good luck to the rest skaters!

Yeah he seemed upset at something, maybe it was his skating? Maybe he thought his skating wasn't the best compared to practice. To me, he actually seemed a little nervous.

Seniorita, don't cry, please. Plush is really a great skater, don't be upset about his haters.

If I am not mistaken, I think Lysacek and Takahashi did in their sp at GPF.

Well, if that program get scored that good for choreography, composition, transitions, footwork, interpretation, how high will scores get for the truly great PC skaters coming up?
