Men's Short Program.. Tuesday 16th, 7:15PM EST

he was slower and looked worried, not even the in your face attitude...!

I wonder what is going on?

Well at least done and he didn't fall, plus he's ok for the LP no matter what happens with the others.

Yeah he seemed upset at something, maybe it was his skating? Maybe he thought his skating wasn't the best compared to practice. To me, he actually seemed a little nervous.

Don't know really. He seemed either nervous or worried, am not sure. Or maybe a tad angry too.

BBC says that people are talking about his lack of TRs but that he didn't get scored for them either and that he needs to have that improved for his LP.

Congrats to Plushy - a very solid skate. I agree with Button - his skating skills/steps and spins are only average but he makes up for it with the way he commands the ice.
The jumps still look to be the best!

He indeed looked unsatisfied, hes not stupid, that score was lower than what he got at Euros and thats not a good sign. He realises hes not unbeatable but wont let him affect him much I bet, hes got nerves of steel. If only his competitors were the same way..

Argh that feed is playing that hockey game again!

I think I'm gonna watch Plushy from Eurovision with shots of MamaJuana to recover.

A warning to the next skater, Bacchini. His music is so badly cut your ears will blead. You can't do that to Yann Tiersen! And no one, no one!, is allowed to skate to La Valse d'Amelie exept Kristoffer Berntsson!

Now we say, GO STEFAN!!!!!!!!!!!

*** happy tears, i cant stop crying, i dont care who beats him now, maybe all. He did his best he could.
good luck to the rest skaters!

LOL *hugs Seniorita*
Glad you didn't have a nervous breakdown. Now I am tying you to your chair so you don't float away.

Well, if that program get scored that good for choreography, composition, transitions, footwork, interpretation, how high will scores get for the truly great PC skaters coming up?

That is what seems like the joke, to me they can score it higher and lower and it could all be justified either way.

While I think Plush's marks are high, when I was waiting for them I was just saying to myself 'please don't have like 98 points. Please don't have like 98 points' so while I think having almost 91 is high, at least it isn't almost 100!

That must explain Robin Cousin's snarky comment about the music "selections"!!

Thanks for the warning!

Crap, the feed switched to hockey. Help! We need a feed for figure skating for people outside Europe.

Plushenko is admitting to being disappointed, didn't eat, but, he skated clean ... has sore muscle problems ... he is off to talk to the doctors ...
