Men's Short Program.. Tuesday 16th, 7:15PM EST

So in that after skate interview:

1- it was difficult, I lost 2 kilos.
2- I'm not well
3- Skating with no quad, it is not men's skating
4- we need more triple triple triple triple triple combination.

That is why I dislike the ugly diva as much as I do much.

David Pelletier called it; it's positioning, it's propaganda, he's baiting the other skaters ... let's face it, though, the guy does get people talking, which can only help raise the profile a bit and sell some newspapers

Oh God...Rod, dearest, Elvis is NOT in the building or on the ice tonight, so kindly shut the Hell up about him please!!!

Sorry, but just when I thought commentating was going so well tonight, Rod shows his true colours.

Poor Vaughn. Of all the jumps to mess up on. :(

Plushy...Meh...Good jumps, the rest, not so much. Inflated marks and a gift beyond gifts.

Did I just hear him right on Sportsnet? That he's lost some weight due to something possibly going on? Or was that just his fractured English?

And he stole Kristoffer's begining!! And how can he be allowed to destroy this wonderful music?!?!?!

(and my keyboard just switched back to american board, from swedish. Weird..)

His English was quite fluent in his interview from what I could see; he didn't have much hesitation. He just referenced not eating, and having sore muscles ... maybe a nasty Canadian flu bug is hunting him down!

I thought he had to lose weight because he put some on during his retirement... must be all the wedding cake. /snark

Where is swine flu when you need it...

Takeshi Honda; plushy's jump was good, and spin was also good although his spin was not as good at CoR as he did once.
but as for the step, it wasntas amazing as he did at the last olimpic, which made the audienct @ vancouver silent.

They said in Swedish telly during Euros that he raised 20 kg during the retirement. Good job to be fit again after that!

Exactly. Then we'll all have something to laugh about be it Patrick's, Plushy's, or some other skater's remarks. ;)

Glad you agree with me. (:

The only thing worse than people talking about you is NOT having people talking about you ... press to put skating back in the forefront, a good confrontation will pull in viewers, which is GOOD!!!!!
