I like that Hanyu kid. Needs polish but I liked the unbridled energy and I liked those deep pauses in the footwork. Music cut for the last spin was bizarre though.

Noticed that too. They have not updated the scoring since Kevin Reynolds. ETA: it just unfroze and is now caught up.
Hanyu: give this young man a couple of years, and we may have a Sochi medalist here. I like him. How old is he?

The little Johnny - Hanyu did well. 76.43 wow! into third.

Probably half an inch taller or something. Dai in "real life" is really short.

I too think that he has the potential to be the one to watch in Sochi - he's a keeper!

He is 16. I think his birthday is in Dec 1994

I remember he had that problem in his first year as a junior too but by his second year he kinda got over that. Hopefully he'll get over that by next season >.<
