In other strange news, Chris Howarth and Nicky Slater do not seem aware that Evan has withdrawn. They were talking about the men's competition during the ladies free(during replays of Ashley's skate, I think) and about how Brian thinks it's between him, Stephane, and Takahashi, and thought it was interesting that he didn't mention "either of those guys."

A request to my fellow skating fans---

As someone who loves great skating no matter who does it, could this thread please be nicer than the ones that have been here so far...

This had been my favorite skating site because people were always nicer here than on other skating boards.

But some of the comments on here have been extremely slanted towards one's favorite skater or own country, and some have bordered on being downright mean. It doesn't seem like Goldenskate anymore.

I'm not telling anyone what they can and can't say, but I was wondering if we could all retain our enthusiasm for skating in a nicer and less biased way.

At this point, the Turkish streaming feed is not on yet. It was the same way yesterday, until a certain point was reached, and then it came on. Unfortunately, the CBC is saying "no to your area" to U.S. fans, possibly because the U.S. broadcasts come later. At least the ISU scores site is working at
