Gosh high scores for Davydov. Good skate and nice positions but lacked the energy of Joubert and Van der Perren. I wasn´t captivated.

Thomas Verner big shock to see him first but he did have the jumps and presentation was quite high. He looked very happy.

Verner's been on fire this season; he's really come into his own. Top 3 was not unexpected (at least not by me); 1st, however --

Glad to see Kevin in a good position; I just hope he can keep it together in the long and get his cute little self on that podium....

How many skate the long program?. If its only 24 and the Polish skaters beats out the turkish and Norwegian skater to skate the long its a real shame as they were better imo. Iam all for a Polish skaters to do well in Poland but i feel he should have been alittle lower.

It's just that he has so much potential to win but there's always something standing between him and the gold. I know it sounds exagerated but after 4 years supporting Sasha Cohen I'm traumatized (the tears I cried for her!!! And still I miss her out there)

Brian did have an amazing season. I'm so proud of him.

Though he was placed second he still skated well. His mistake was turning out a quad. When iam used to watching Brian skate against skaters like Buttle, or Takahashi i do find he is less artistic, however his presentation was so strong in the way he presents his program with energy, intensity, and power. In this competiton he was clearly ahead of the other this way. Grabs your attention throughout.

In this context, Kevin kind of reminds me of his fellow cutie Ivan Dinev; he'd do pretty well in the GP (tho Kevin hasn't done too well there the last couple of years either) but by the time Euros and Worlds rolled around, he'd be back in the pack. Some people are just not "late in the season" skaters.

On that note -- what is up with Lindemann?? He reminds me of Julia Sebestyen before she won Euros -- good result one competion, in the toilet the next......

Have you seen that? Have you? I told it’s gonna be Verner who’ll rock the competition! I said so right after I saw him on the Obersdorf gala! And nobody believed me! Everybody taught I’m crazy and that he won’t be able to put it all together, but he did! At the gala he looked so relaxed and he did the triple axel like it’s “by the way”! And that was the moment I said he’ll be one of the medalists!

I don’t know about you, but I just loved Lutai and Dobrin! I admire so much Sergei who came back after such a crash. And he has such a perfect rotation.

Oh, and Moris was good! Also Boris Martinec, which was weird for me...Only I'm so sorry for Zoltan....
Anyway, this has been a nice short program from men!



Now only if Caro does it good, I’ll just love the whole competition!

When I thought Joubert is like Plushenko in Winter Oly, absolutely unbeatable, here comes Verner who truely rocked the house. Now I started to feel excited about Euros even without Lambiel. With that said, although I like Brian, I'm so happy and proud of Tomas! Go Tomas!

OKAY, in light of these SHOCKING unbelieveable results. We all know that Brians FS is unstoppable and unbelivable, and I honestly do not think that Verner will be able to hold on with all of the pressure now put on him. NO Offense of course, to him or/and his fans.

Brian's second place finish in the short is a sign.
Let's review Brians history in the European Championships, the last time Brian was 2nd after the short in 2004, and he then went on to win the title. In 2005 he was first after the short, and then took 2nd overall in the competition. This 'shock' to the system will remind him not to get cocky, and to really bring down the house tommarow.

I want a Joubert, Van Der Parren, Verner podium in that order
