Men's SP

OKAY, in light of these SHOCKING unbelieveable results. We all know that Brians FS is unstoppable and unbelivable, and I honestly do not thinkt ath Verner will be able to hold on with all of the pressure now put on him. Offense of course.

This is a sign:
Brian was 2nd after the short in 2004, and went on to win the title. In 2005 he was first after the short, and then took 2nd overall in the competition. This 'shock' to the system will remind him not to get cocky, and to really bring down the house tommarow.

I want a Joubert, Van Der Parren, Verner podium in that order
I agree and hope you're right.
I was watching today the Joubert fluff and I agreed with his mother: over confidence is not good.

WHOAH hold the phone, Brian fluff!?, is it in English? Can you please PM it to me or email it to me, I am on gmail.

Thanks a bunch

I really hope Brian can come back and win tomorrow. He is less than a point behind.... all he had to do is not let it get to his head and stay calm. land those quads!!!

I will be very surprised if Joubert does not score higher in the long program with his technical difficuty and how he has skated this season. I really enjoy Verner though, and hope he keeps in medal position. About time he got some attention.

I'm saying this even w/the knowledge that spoiled fruit and veggies might be flung towards my head...

I actually like this for Brian. If he was first, there's always the danger that it's in the bag w/the program he's got and would he go in too confident? W/Brian in second, not only does he know he's got to go out and fight, but also having a problem w/his quad here he's going to be mad at himself tonight.

I like a mad skater. They often come out w/that fire in their eyes and something to prove. Therefore...I'm betting on another tour de force from Brian tomorrow.

At least I hope so because he really has come leaps and bounds this season. I was very impressed w/the improvement in his programs and overall skating the only time I got to see him skate this fall, which was the CoR coverage.

Go get em Brian!!

The problem is he has big problems in Warsaw with his quads and can't seem to land a clean one so far ... Let's hope he won't pull one of his disaster skate !
