Men's SP

blackout

This silly blackout restriction is so irritating. Their technology is so poor that people from many areas not on the blackout list can't watch. Their technical support is also quite poor. I called them twice, still no response.

Is anyone else also thinking that the last group is going to be a bit of a letdown after this one?

Michal BREZINA, Czech Republic

- cask on his right arm

3L-3T
3R
2A - can I say it? incredible fabulous fantastic amazing jumps - so high! Great air position, a-w-e-s-o-m-e!
Camel - alright
Straightline footwork - good, nicely to the music
Sitspin - good
Circular footwork - fluid, quick
Combo spin - nice

- didn't care much for the program, but very solid and great jumps

62,11 points - into first.

Adam Rippon, USA

- love the costume

3L-3T
2A
3R - beautiful soft Johnny-jumps
Camel - nice variations, steady
Great circular footwork - and I mean great...
Combo spin with layback - nice
Straightline footwork - also good, I prefered the circular one
Sitspin to finish - good

- like him though he seemed a bit more tense than normally

69,35 points into first place

After ballet on ice now punk on ice - fabulous!

Adam was as expected but Brezina was brilliant. I have never seen anyone get the true rhythm and beat of that Artie Shaw tune. The two boys will be rivals.

Joe

Mroz, Mroz, Mroz. I have never seen him skate bettter. This is turning into a hot competition.

I thought Adam was a bit slow and tentative. Maybe its just the feed.

The current Swedish skater has really soft knees...I like him.

Not Schultheiss' day today... too bad, his style is great.
He really rocked at Europeans

Circular Steps
Great sitspin

- love the soft quality on the ice

49,15 into 12th - poor guy

hmmm..not sure about that. In looking at the slow-mo he is a bit more "juniorish" than Adam...but then again, this is juniors....

Brandon Mroz, British Colonies

3A-3T - great
3R - even better
Camel spin - nice
Straightline - very good
Spread eagle into
2A - very good
Combo spin - you go guy!
Circular steps - he is a dramatic skater
Sitspin

- ohh, love this one, bit more edgy than Rippon

underscored *grrrr* 63,36 into 2nd

not gonna do the japanese guy, going to get newest update on my father...

I loved Brezinas performance, hes got potential. Rippon was really solid, and got a SB, the best so far and by far.. Schultheiss kinda had a meltdown, he was a shadow of what he was at Europeans. I dont like Mroz's coreography that much, .

Takahito MURA, Japan

slow motion didn't look promising.
