Meryl Davis & Charlie White

It has been oh-so-nice to be a D/W fan the past couple of days!! They're all over social media and giving interviews left and right. They did two other interviews - one with a FOX channel and one with someone else.... Anyways, if i come across them again, I'll be sure to post them here for you all! :)

EDIT: Found em! :) They're all fairly similar...but they each have their great moments.

Huff Post Live did a great half-hour session with Meryl & Charlie!

They discuss skating, DWTS, relationships, future plans. :)

Dwts has surely improved their ability to give a natural-looking interview.

The perfect interview.

We all knew that Charlie is funny, but he is so articulate! Especially apparent when he's talking about Candace's costumes.

Nice contrast to our most famous athlete* Kimi Räikkönen, who is famous for his curt answers to any and all interview questions - he's practically made it into an artform, as you can see from this 20 second clip from a press conference: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kd8ij8l1q8Y

Hey, I LOVE KIMI

Edit.

And this is the best video ever

You might want to vote for Meryl & Charlie for the Skating Magazine reader's choice award :)

You can vote as many times as you want. You do not have to be logged into icenetwork to watch any of the videos from the 2014 US Figure skating championships (some of the vids are from other events) either. Meryl & Charlie's FD is shown...without commentary, including the slo mo, and the K n C.

I had to do right click and open in a new tab to get them to play.

I doubt they play on mobile devices, because IN/MLB (Major League Baseball) has it's vids in Adobe Flashplayer, but still it's nice to watch all those programs without having to sign up. Some are LPs (D&W) some are SP's (Jason Brown) so until you watch you won't know which to expect.
Enjoy!

Also - lots of cute pics of Meryl and Charlie and the Shibutanis were/are being uploaded to the Shibs' twitters and ig's from tonight's post-Olympic celebrations party. :)

It's just nice they are home! LOL, at having an Winter Olympics party in the SUMMER.

Meryl and Charlie are going to be the Grand Marshals for the Pure Michigan 400 NASCAR race August 17th. They get to say,"Drivers start your engines!"

In this clip, they get to teach Roger from Michigan Speedway how to skate.

We also learn that Tanith and Charlie's wedding is scheduled for April 2015. :)

It is a cute video.

Can't believe I'm the one  adding this post, but in case anyone still cares...

Meryl was never dating her DWTS partner, according to Derek Hough's comments in yesterday's USA Today.

MD and MC "were never dating, despite their closeness on the show. 'No,' [Hough] says, explaining that the show created a story line for them ...."

(If this is old news and the speculation already was definitively debunked long ago, sorry for my oblivion. Hadn't tried to keep up ;).)

[Sorry that I have not bothered to look up a link. Happened to see a hard copy of the newspaper.]
