Michele is petitioning to be named to the team. The AP story relates:

-quote- Kwan must prove to the federation by Jan. 16 that she is fit enough to be selected for the Olympic team. The members of the team must be submitted to the Turin organizing committee by Jan. 30. -unquote-

So there will be a skating demo of some sort by Michele, on or about Jan 16. That in & of itself will be very interesting. Well, for the sake of our USA team, I sure hope that Michele recovers on time!

Like I said in another thread, the week of Four Continents is the same week of the deadline of naming the US Olympic team (1/30). It's cutting it REALLY close.
