Hello everybody,

First of all Congratulations to Misha for this award “TOP-50” The most famous people of Petersburg ". I guess most people have already seen this news and read the interview but for that ones who don’t, here you have it . Nothing to say about the intervew: very caustic in my opinion. Misha is a smart boy and dodges well the bullets but he has to be tired of answering the same questions once and again. Apart of this I love the photos; really nice he looks georgeous and I personally like that clothes very much. I would like to see more pictures about the event. Bravo Mikhail

It seems there is some uncertainty if the award was not presented in the Sport category at all or it is missing from the video? The main thing Mika has won it and got prize money as well (as I understand it) The interviewer was very determined to provoke him but was not match for Mika who responded with dignity & humour :thumbsup::luv17:

That Paul Smith outfit is quite something... Fortunately Misha is not under an obligation to wear it outside the photoshoot.

If this pic was taken immediately after the interview (really do journalists have to be like a broken record?) I would not blame Mika for feeling aggressive - good for him!

Well, I actually have no problems in him doing it, tbh. If he manages to have fun with performing it, I'm all about it.

I'd not mind if he did it as an Ex piece with a twist. Admittedly, I am not a fan of Stravinsky and Firebird's been beaten to death already

Alas, no time to translate it but a few points of interest:

-The whole SP choreographed by Stephane including idea of music (great!)
-Mika doesn't like heat - what he was thinking when planning a trip to California for JULY!? (I can relate to this as we are having a heat wave in Ireland here and it is unbearable, to work at least, lying on the beach would be a different matter of course
-His idol, Philippe Candeloro, came over to him in Milan to give some advice (wow I am happy for Mika)
-Mika didn't part with any further info on his LP

Misha gets Rostelecom and Finland. On the one hand, it will be like skating for two home crowds (plus very minimal travel time), but on the other hand he will be up against Hanyu at both events.....

ETA: and Boyang at Finland. Oh well, let’s hope for the best

Misha won against Boyang two times last season, so it's not something out of reach for him. In fact, I'm interested in seeing how Misha is going to fare against Erokhov. Hanyu is a whole another matter. All in all, two GPs that are perfect for him, tbh. Minimal travel time, less fatigue. Hopefully he can have a good season, gain confidence for Euros - I think he has to exorcise those demons this year. I do think it's in his reach the GPF spot either way.

The two events are so near to each other. At least he won't have to travel a lot for them and minimal time change. He is not only going against Yuzuru, if he lost to him is expected and no problem with the federation. But he is also against Erokhov, the new junior world master AND Krasnozhon, both young and still a wild card. At the moment i don't like too much Erokhov skating, but he might have evolved in presentation and selling his program AND he will have the support of the federation in their rush to find the new golden boy. The amount the federation was supporting Dima and Samarin against Voronov last season was telling. It depends perhaps how much the federation will believe Mikhail capability to evolve, but i still remember (and i am bitter about) how they let down Arthur G after his bronze medal.
