Nice analysis! Thank you for this interesting and informative post.
Hey JaeJ, Thanks. That's nice of you to say.

DORIS: Great information as usual. Now all we have to do is get you working for NBC in time for the Olympics.

When did they show the exhibitions on the East Coast? I tuned in to ESPN2 at 1:00 PM, as ABC instructed, and all I got was a repeat of the men's and ladie's short programs.

What's the deal?

Rgirl, I think that is so true. Even on this board all we hear is that Sasha hasn't done a clean program. Well she has, but how many times has she been praised for that on this board?? Sometimes I have to believe that there is such a love hate relationship for Sasha and that when she has missed a jump or two then it's the jump or two that is commented on not the whole program. I think people like her much more than they even know othewise why would it be such a big deal. I have always wondered why Sasha is the only skater that is so nit picked on and my answer is that she disappoints those who don't want to think she's in a league of her own.

I agree totally. I think the reason Sasha has a history of falls is that she has been trying alot more elements than the other American skaters & back in 6.0 days a fall was all it took to lose. She had to try more difficulty to beat the consistent 6.0s Michelle got for artistic.

My husband got ticked off when they mentioned that one of the skater's parents are divorced (I think it was Jane Bougaeva). He thought that tacky and none of anyone's business, especially not the entire country!

Sasha was lovely, and we are both thrilled to see her take her first national title--FINALLY!

Matt! Just wonderful. Very inspired program.
