But who do you think nitpicks more?

Fans of the 'nitpicked' skater who wants their favorite to improve all of their flaws, including the minor ones?

"Non-fans" who want to point out the fault of their favorite's #1 rival, to show that the other skater is not as good?

I'd have to vote for Weiss, too. Even I pick on Michael Weiss, and I generally try not to bash skaters publicly.

As an unwaveringly devoted Babou fan, I can say with great confidence that Brian is one of the most nit-picked skaters. If you search this forum or FSU, you'll be hard-pressed to find more than once nice comment about him per thread...if that. With skaters like Sasha and Michelle, there is one gushy comment for every nit-picky comment. And thusly, the nit-picky quotient is less.

Weiss is up there too. Not really complaining about that one, though. Heheh.

I'd say it depends on who is being "nitpicked". If it's "a great", such as Michelle or Yags, than it is the latter, since non-fans get too tired of hearing all the gushing.

However, for the less established skaters, such as Jenny or Lambiel, it's the former. Why? Those who don't like those skaters simply don't pay enough attention. It's the fans who watch every stroke, and can tear it apart later

And then again there are skaters like Weiss -- he's rubbed many FS fans the wrong way at one point, and now it becomes a sport to nit-pick him.
