Which senior ice dance team do you think has the most flamboyant 90s-style costume this season? Is it the colors, the patterns, the sheer amount of fabric happening at once — or a look that somehow captures peak 90s energy? Some programs embraced the decade’s aesthetic so fully that the costumes looked like they came straight from a 90s music video.

Share your picks (and photos if you have them)!

I will go with Olivia Corneil and Alexandre Emery for their RD since Olivia's costume has photos attached to it.

I'm going with Kouevi/Homawoo's colorful costumes:

Some people might consider them to be too bold, but I think they really represent how the style of the 80's bled into the style of the 90's. Red and green and purple seems like a crazy color combination and yet it works! They also remind me of the influence of African-American culture in the 90's-- it takes me back to being a kid and watching "The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air" after school...

The only way it could be more 90's would be if she had those small plastic hairclips in her hair with toys and flowers and animals on them-- but I really don't know how well those hairclips would stay on while skating. I secretly wanted to wear those hairclips, but only the black kids wore them...I wonder if anyone else knows what I'm going on about...

The clash between Lewis Gibson's top and Lilah's British flag top spelled chaos to me

Lolo's Victoria secret isn't chaos but it is certainly bad taste. Just my opinion of course.

I really didn't like Guignard-Fabbri's costumes on their boy band RD.

I was okay with Paul's corset but I was also okay with his no back costume... for them, it's a real redemption from their orange chaos from 2022

According to ChatGPT:

Lilah Fear / Lewis Gibson

Rhythm Dance (90s Pop/Spice Girls) — NHK Trophy 2025 (Grand Prix Series)
At NHK Trophy 2025, their Union-Jack tartan mini-dress (Fear) and hyper-patterned vest (Gibson) committed fully to 90s maximalism. What makes it the season’s most “chaotic” is intentional excess: clashing red-blue tartan, aggressive rhinestoning, layered accessories, and pop-icon mimicry pushed visual saturation to the brink while remaining ISU-legal. The skirt volume amplified hip action in Latin patterns, and the asymmetrical sparkle disrupted clean lines — deliberately evoking 90s pop-concert disorder. It was not merely nostalgic; it weaponized aesthetic overload as choreographic punctuation.

I think the most horrible dance costume I've ever seen was that black skirt on Madison Chock. It was distracting, got all over Evan's face, nearly caused a crash more than once, and was totally unnecessary for the music. It seemed like they were both focussed on the dang skirt instead of the program. I guessed Maddie was trying to be artistic but I really think she missed the mark on this costume. And a small part of me thinks it contributed to them losing out on the gold medal.

Looking for "chaotic" in a good way. Maybe I should change that adjective :) Vibrant, playful and bold...flamboyant?
