This story will be moved into Wattpad’s Paid program. Which means that for the first time, I would have a book that someone deemed worthy of asking people to pay to read.
It’s an emotional moment for me, even though I don’t expect earnings. By now, I have written 11 novels (and one lonely novella, heh) and it helps me to feel like a ‘real’ writer, not just a hack who posts stories on-line.
On one hand, my obscurity helps me write whatever I want. But I also pour so much heart and efforts into my books, so much work, that I crave access to wider audience.
Fingers crossed getting into Paid will help me with being ‘seen’. And if not, well, I am still one rung of the writing ladder up.
