Nice costume for opening -my friend loved it.

I'm home from Anaheim - Nathan was great! Doesn't he look so good in the opening costume? The solo costumes were nice too but something about that military inspired costume just flattered him so well. He did great triple flips and back flips and all with his winning smile. So thankful he was in all the group numbers as Ilia and Isabeau were only in the finale. Great show! Off to bed now!

Nathan was late for the finale. Must have had a problem changing. Honestly, he should just wear the blue finale outfit for Mr Blue Sky.

I talked to Nathan at the MG. He said he had a hard time keeping up in the group numbers. Everyone else has been on tour doing them. I overheard one of the other skaters saying how fast he picked up all the choreography. I could tell he wasn’t his usual polished self, but he did fine (he’s such a good dancer). His solos really showcased his artistry. He was smiling, enjoying himself and looking at the audience when he skated by.
Nathan is so kind to fans at the MG, especially kids. He offered to take a selfie with the little girl behind me who was too shy to ask.
Nathan also said he did well this semester at Yale & is really looking forward to his last year.
I mentioned that I saw his mom in the audience. He said she was there ‘taking care of him’.
I also ran into the President of the Osaka chapter of the Nathan Chen Fan Club at the MG. I had met her a few years ago at the Stars on Ice MG in San Jose. She follows him to All his Ice Shows,
Lastly, the MG went on way past 11:00; the skaters had to be up by 6:00 am for a flight to San Jose.

There is no break between Mr. Blue Sky and the Finale. Nathan skates off as the other skaters come on. He didn’t come back until the finale was more than half over. I agree he shouldn’t have changed. It didn’t matter.

Nathan seemed more settled down from the clips I've seen from San Jose. His timing was much better on day 2.

These clips are so fun to watch. I’ve been a fan for a long time and already know that he’s incredibly talented but he has outdone himself here. He looks so smooth and confident that you would never know that he just learned these group numbers. Bravo, Nathan!
