He is a good dancer, imo, but I think he really shows off himself. He's a bit egocentric. Johnathan does show off his ladies who have never been more than clutzes in dance. Both M and J seem to be good pals. They must get paid big bucks for doing this show and the longer they last the more money comes in.

I do think it's a lot of work for them with choreographing, rehearsing and then showing.

I agree with Joe about Max. If you watch the freestyle with Mel again, you'll see that the attention is on him, instead of Mel. The opening was all about him.

Jonathon seems to be the best pro with regards to highlighting his partner's strengths. Unfortunately for him, he hasn't been partnered with a star who can really dance well.

I think Mel might be a better dancer than Helio, but her dances weren't fun and I found that she didn't have the charm of Helio. Also, as mentioned, Max didn't highlight her enough or challenge her to do more.

Sabrina should have been in the finals, but she might not have won either. A lot of viewers didn't think it was fair that she has so much non-ballroom dance experience. She really annoyed people with all her Cheetah-licious comments during the 1st week, too.

I thought Mel was good, but I was happy that Helio won. And I did not like her freestyle at all. But then, it was better than Marie's whatever it was with the doll thing....

I think Maks knew precisely what Mel B could and could not do. If you check out videos of past seasons, Maks presented each of his partners differently. He said on Larry King, "It's my job to camoflage my partner's weaknesses." I personally didn't find Ms. Brown to be much of a dancer. Her shoulders were always up in ballroom and she wasn't very graceful. Her natural sexiness carried her in Latin, but her footwork was mediocre. I think Maks did a brilliant job with her and left viewers with the impression that she's a really good dancer.

Give her a break. This is an ABC show and ABC is owned by Disney. Cheetah Girls is a Disney property. Sabrina said what she was told to say. That noted, she was a really experienced dancer. Maybe not in ballroom, but she was a dancer, just like Stacy Keibler in season two.
