According to this article by Steve Schrader of the Detroit Free Press, Nicole Bobek plays Sean Penn's love interest in a remake of "All the King's Men" due out next year. :agree:

"Bobek's character mesmerizes Penn while performing a skating routine in a nightclub ( :laugh: ) and becomes his girlfriend (who later meets an untimely demise)."

(Seriously, this sounds like a good start for Nicole's film career).
 
Where was Tara's agent? Nicole didn't want to be an actress. I guess her agent said, you've had enough skating.:laugh:

Nicole has um, assets that Tara doesn't have---she looks like a woman.

Tara's gotten bit roles in movies, too, but her scenes wound up on the cutting room floor. That could happen to Bobek. Let's wait to see if Nicole actually appears in the movie before we conclude whether or not she can beat Tara on the acting front.

The first time I saw Kate Hudson, I thought she looked a little like Nicole Bobek. However, as has been pointed out, for the last couple of years, that is certainly no longer the case below the neck.:biggrin:​
 
Wow, what a great break for Nicole. Not only does she land a movie role, but she manages to play the love interest of Sean Penn! She has always been such a stunning figure on the ice, and I'm certain she'll be just as spectacular on the big screen (given the right types of roles).
 
:rofl: , MM. Well....I would say that he is normally a fairly attractive guy. But, that picture you posted of him certainly wouldn't lead one to believe that..........

I wouldn't exactly call them unskilled, not everyone can do what they do.

At least, Sean's matured since his wild younger days and has taken on some unusual roles. He's also written, directed and produced - so, he's not a one note action hero actor.

We also have 2 governors of California who were actors and one eventually became President of the US. Not that I would've voted for either one of them based upon their acting careers.

Hopefully she can add the same lovely presence that she has on the ice to the Silverscreen.
 
I could definitely see Nicole as an actress. Wasn't even aware that she was interested in acting 'til I heard about her role with this movie.

Well, I have seen him in some movies and words like attractive or fairly attractive do not come into my thoughts in his connection, but I´d guess that he is a nice guy. I wish to Nicole every success in the coming movie!

Sean Penn is a very fine character actor who usually portrays life-like characters. Robert Diniro is another. This will not be a light comedy for chicks. If there is a skating sequence in it, it wont be all gooey for the kids.

The one film they made together, We're No Angels is considered by many critics to be on the same level as Ishtar and Gigli.​
