I wish Kate Winslet would win, but I am rooting for Helen Mirren. Not only is she child-free (and proud of it!) but she has yet to win.

I'm sure Ms. Winslet will get whats coming to her soon. She is one of the best actresses out there right now. I believe this will be her 5th Oscar nom? They have been for:
Sense and Sensibility
Titanic
Iris
Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind
and now Little Children..

I would love it if Will Smith won for Pursuit of Happyness. His portrayal of Chris Gardner moved me in a way that few films have in many years.

My husband and I are huge movie fans and used to go to movies almost every weekend. Now we can't afford to go since buying a home. We can't believe we only saw one nominated movie - Little Miss Sunshine - this year. We won't be able to judge the rest. I enjoyed Little Miss Sunshine. I hope it wins.

Well after the SAG Awards I guess Forest Whitaker, Hellen Murren, Eddie and Jennifer Hudson are all locks? Surely, there will be somekind of surprise? I was really happy to see Little Miss Sunshine win best cast. I just wish Toni Colette could have been there.. I love her!
