Word on another board is that Bryce's blade hit Jessica in the face during SBS spins, she was taken off on a stretcher, bleeding and crying but conscious. Seems that several sources have confirmed it. Jeebus, these 2 can't buy a break.

Wow 2 nasty on ice incidents this year alone + I think already 2 knee surgeries.,this girl sure deserves a break at last.I do hope sh'e okay and that it isn't too serous this time.My prayers are with you Jessica !:agree:

Oh my gosh! This is certainly the team of hard knocks. It doesn't matter how talented you are...sometimes injury and bad luck just get in the way. Oh my! Poor girl! Poor Bryce! I hope he doesn't beat himself up for what was an accident. I just....I just can't believe it.

I love this team and hope they can come back and kick butt at Worlds!

I just got home and read about Jessica Dube. How awful, i do hope she heals and is able to get to Worlds. I really hope she is ok. They are my favourite Canadian couple, they have such wonderful unison.

A speedy recovery to poor Jessica, and her partner looked mortified in the photo. Pairs is soooo dangerous, these skaters are just so brave.

That is INSANE! I can't believe this has happened to them AGAIN!

It's like they can't catch a break for the life of them. Or at least Jessica can't. My prayers are definitely with Jessica. I pray for minimal damage and a speedy recovery. My heart flipped when I read the sidenote in an article about them!

I can't imagine how Bryce feels as a partner and as her boyfriend. :disapp:

I hope it wasn't a major injury.
