But considering the fashions that Beyonce and GaGa have set, I'm quite surprised none of the ladies are skating in just elaborate "swimsuits" - those are the most popular choice of costume for pop-stars these days. Anyway this girls seems to be the closest- it's hard to consider that yellow bit of flounced fabric a skirt.

Sigh. I wish I lived in Canada. The judges gave a record score for the first skate. Shen and Zhao were great but is there a little inflation at the Olympics? Does this mean the score can be beatable by other top pairs?
