Anyone else watching on www.pplive.com? (if you used this for SA, you may have to download the v. 1.0.9.4 upgrade in Chinese version to get video this time!!)
*WARNING* - all of my comments are from a non-skater appeal point of view.
Pet / Tik are as brilliant as ever technically, but talk about skaters where ANY music could be playing in the back ground - on the interpretation side of things they really leave me cold. But I'm sure this program will score well.
Marcoux / Buntin - really enjoyed their "Big Spender" program!! I'm sure it won't score as well at Pet / Tik but was a whole lot more fun to watch and enjoy!
New RUS pair in start #4 - I'm not sure yet if they will qualify for my Rusty Hanger nomination, but if we decide to give a DAY GLO award, I think they could win hands down. Imagine a multi-pak of highlighters from Office Depot. 2 yellow, 2 orange, and 1 green. That's the inspiration for the costumes.
Missed one or two...but just watched the German pair. WOW - I loved their program - very different. Did I read that right??? Into FIRST????WOW!!! I saw that just before I was going back to my Office Depot Costume Descriptions, and was about to say they made very effective use of White Out. I really liked this pair which is one of the reasons I'm shocked with the scores!! Better go look again...
Aw Oh.... Evora / Ladwig chacked from the live coverage on CCTV-5. Oh well - seeing more here than we will see on ESPN / ABC so I ain't complainin'.
Sure hope they broadcast the Men's Short!!
