Ekaterina KOSTENKO / Roman TALAN didn't look very strong. I didnt get to watch it all but they looked so slow and she had a fall on their throw.

Disappointed by Vanessa JAMES / Yannick BONHEUR 's score. I had high hope for them.

Oh, they showed Petrenko...

I think the German commentators had some dinner, they stopped saying anything for at least 10 minutes.

V/M and Savchenko/Szolkovy seem to get along fine, they just showed them training their lifts.

Awww, some nice video shots of S/S and V/M. There seems to be a healthy, friendly competition there. :)

Heh, Steuer really likes different types of music; now an instrumental version of Queen.

:no: Every time I see a Swiss skater/team, I think of the heavy hearts the Swiss federation must be feeling with the retirement of Lambiel and the serious hip injury withdrawal of Meier. *sigh*

I need to see that short by Hausch/Wende. Must have been quite good. They have to make the Top Ten if they want to go to Worlds. If they don't make Top Ten, the German Figure Skating PTB will just refuse to use the spots they have at Worlds (they got 3 spots).

gosh, this pbp thing is difficult... I might have got every jump wrong... sorry
Doesn't matter, don't worry. Happened to me too last year when I did PBP for Junior Worlds, it's just difficult to realise in a short time which jump is which...

And Morozov actually smiled - a rare event!

Group 4:
The Sokolovs (Israel) did exactly they same thing as in CoR: pulled off a lovely triple twist - was that the only one of the night so far? - and then screwed up just about everything else. His basic skating skills are not great.
The Swiss pair (Morand and Dorsaz): according to Eurosport, they are the first skaters from their country in this discipline since 1992. I must say her costume looked like a leftover from those days - not a good look at all. But they do have potential, and they're young, and have Ingo Steuer coaching them, so they might be going places.
Italians - I'm not sure they didn't wait too long to switch from roller skating to ice skating. There are some things that can't be made up that fast. There wasn't really anything memorable in there.

A short shot of Mukhortova/Trankov backstage warming up, looks like they are trying to stay concentrated. I hope they skate beautifully!
