I was pleased to find so much info on Karen - I think skate Canada is finally giving Karen her "dues." It's late, but better late than never! She gave a lot back to figure skating and deserves the recognition.

Canada's Karen Magnussen, of course! She was World champion in 1973 and Olympic silver medalist in 1972 (when figures counted). She was one of figure skatings greatest female skaters and my skating inspiration in my skating days.
