There's also the Cinderella show at St Petersburg, which runs from 2nd to 5th January, where coaches Yulia Lipnitskaya and Dima Mikhailov are playing the main roles Sofia Samodurova is the Fairy Godmother I think!
https://www.instagram.com/tv/CY0s10QJRS7 - This is super cute! Agafya Titova - Sofia's younger sister - wants to learn to skate as well. Here's a first steps on the ice.
In other news I was going to write about the Moscow Junior Championship, then I got the COVID booster and like a wuss I was a bit out of it over the weekend.
Anyway! There was good news and bad news.
Yaroslav Khrulev won the silver medal in the Younger Boys category and will be going to the Russian Novice Nationals
Alena Zhilina (Veronika's sister) who was coming back from an injury and sadly didn't make it through to the final 24. I couldn't find a video of her SP.
A number of Angels participated in the Memorial of I S Rusakov this week and it was a great success for them
Anastasia Zhilina competed in the older girls category to get her Master of Sports Award (this requires getting a +2 on all jumps so no quads were tried) and was successful in both that and winning gold !
You can find Nastya's SP and FS videos in her fan fest (let me know if you want me to post it in here)
Enjoy the videos and music you love, upload original content, and share it all with friends, family, and the world on YouTube.

Maxim Avtushenko and Nikita Sarnovsky were in the younger boys category.
Maxim won ! This is the first time I've seen him win! He usually has trouble with spins, but he did a 4S (his first in a competition!) and a 2 3As. He finished behind the music so got a 1 point deduction.
Nikita S picked up the silver I don't think I've seen him on the podium before either so you go Nikita! He also did a 4T (when did he get one of those?! I must have not been paying attention) and planned 2 3As but popped one.
I couldn't find individual videos but you can watch the frees of the two here (they went back to back: https://youtu.be/tShV5PaAsVg from 8.06:32
For some reason the stream with the SPs was removed from YouTube so no SPs.
Speaking of, Kirill and Mark Lukin competed in the older boys category. They had a bit of a rougher time of it, but Kirill got the bronze and Mark finished 6th.
Kirill had a rather tough event actually with a fall on his 3A in the SP that looked very painful.
Mark L had a much better time in the SP and was 3rd.
No SPs and no individual videos but they conveniently went back to back too so you can see their FS's here: https://youtu.be/tShV5PaAsVg from 9.45:50.
There is more to come as today is the Sergei Grinkov Memorial where Sofia Titova will be competing. (Kirill S is also listed but it seems unlikely he'd go from one competition straight to another, but who knows.) Fingers crossed for our favourite pirate!
