Thank you for the link, calica. I think this music suits Zhenya way better than did Chopin (a non-fan's opinion).
I like Chopin more... But this SP is also very good

Wow. This is the first time that all his jumps really looked as solid as they were in 2006. I am in awe. The program also suits him much better than Chopin.

This is only the beginning of a long roadI actually don't really like this SP besides his amazing jumps. The music and the movements are a little disconnected in some parts. Who made this program? Maybe this time, he has just focused on the jumps, then later he would add more transitions? I certainly hope so. Joubert was right about this program but he was just too honest.![]()

- 4+3+2 ... maybe and third jump, will be triple...Wow! Thank so much, Ximena and Plushyta! A short program with 4-3 combo, 3A, and 3L.What will he put in his FS?

Yes, it appears that he failed a combination of 4+3+2 (fell at the first jump... Did he skate the long today?
), the second quad successfully jumped, and the rest of "Tango" I actually don't really like this SP besides his amazing jumps. The music and the movements are a little disconnected in some parts. hwell: Are you really that surprised, given his 2006 programs? it does not have choreography, no synchronization with the music, without transitions, bad spins .... I hope that he improves very much
Are you afraid of me
hwell: Are you really that surprised, given his 2006 programs?
You talk about "Godfather" and "Tosca"?!hwell: Are you really that surprised, given his 2006 programs?
As long as Plushenko hits those big jumps of his, he probably won't need any transitions or profound interpretation of the music. If 2006 is anything to go by, he'll get massive PCS anyways....
Are you watching all his performances of these programs???
... there you can see - what IS the transition and the interpretation! :agree:

- there is much more, what I am not able to find on youtube.... for now

- Can you tell us your goal at Vancouver?
- No, I promised I won't. I just want to skate. To skate by it is own, it's worth it.

- Why Plushenko fell on the triple lutz in the free program?
- Well, what to do, he just fell.
- Such you are not surprised about his good shape?
- How can I be surprised when I see the man twice a day?
- So, before the Olympics he will just compete three or four times?
- Well, he is still have yet to be selected for the Olympics.
I love papa mishin!I like Chopin more... But this SP is also very good
I too, liked the Chopin better...

http://www.absoluteskating.com/interviews/2009javierfernandez.html..... Do you have any advice for other skaters?
Just watch Evgeni Plushenko!
Who is your favorite skater?
Evgeni Plushenko!
What do you think about competing against Evgeni in the Olympics?
NOW we compete in different competitions. For now I still think like that. [Javier spoke about Evgeni with awe in his voice]......
Their footwork really looks similar.Javier likes Plushyhttp://www.absoluteskating.com/interviews/2009javierfernandez.html
