You only noticed that now? With livejournal skating friends I was joking all the time that it makes him look like a male hooker. And I don't think the new costume is that much of an improvement, he just turned from looking like a male hooker to looking like a person who pimps out the hookers.

(He can't sue us for these posts, can he? Because we are just kidding. And we are actually big fans.)

Oh, and Seniorita. Plushy's head is so big in you sig because a) it represents the size of his ego and b) you had to compensate for the lack of his huuuuge nose in your picture.

I was also gonna make the same nose comment about Plushy's avatar but since Seniorita has done all those avatars for me, I kept it to myself... ;)
Ok I actually noticed the costume was very very questionable (my bf bursting out in laughter after being introduced to Jouby for the first time in that unfortunate costume didn't help either) but I was simply choosing the tactic of seeing what I liked to see and ignoring the rest.. However, when you point it out to somebody's nose with an avatar in a pointy leather costume, it's impossible to ignore.. IMO the hooker - pimp variation was so funny cos the exact pic you gave the link for was all this time making me go: 'well well, he still looks like smth off but what could it be, what could it be'.... :laugh::laugh:

Why wasn't it funny? Of course Plushenko has a huge ego. As does Joubert. And Lysacek. And Chan. And Weir. They are world class athletes in a performance sport. They wouldn't be any good without huge egos. Some are just more politically correct about it than others.

Figure skater Daisuke Takahashi (23, Kansai University Graduate School) trains Plushenko style quadruple jumps. He was advised by former Olympic team member Takeshi Honda and changed his jump from old one to the style of 2006 Olympic champion Plushenko, which draws an arc on ice and twist his body before take off.
In this season, Takahashi attempted to do a quad toeloop at every competitions, even if he fell many times. Takahashi feels a positive response. He says "Compered to before, now I can do a quad only half power," though he doesn't yet succeed in it......

OMG, I completely forgot the Greek Zorba costume.. That would've been so spot on actually! Oh well, it took me such a ridiculous amount of time to do that, I cannot bother with it again..I guess I don't have your or Plushyta's expertise in photoshopping... :laugh:
Well we could keep Oda, Weir and Taka (in that order) as podium back-ups in case Lambiel ends up doing only 2 Axels :laugh: and Tomas pulls a "Tomas" as usual :laugh:.. I feel like I keep forgetting someone but don't know who...
I'm sure B could very much live with that podium with Brian on top. :biggrin: I didn't know about mummy's advise to Brian but I guess she can be pretty wise sometimes. I actually wouldn't mind seeing a third rendition of original matrix, especially for high potential of good luck charm, but I'm not sure about the rest of the ppl.. :rofl:

Yes, Plush avatar definetely has an unproportionally lean and tiny body, all the avatars look like fatso's (or Cartmans) next to him.. I never understood how you managed to do the costume on Plushy along with the skates.. It took me 2 hours for Tomas' simple costume. :laugh:

Thanks! Well Tomas is more wishful thinking I guess but I wouldn't mind a tie to provide two bronze medals for the two skaters I cannot chose from. :laugh:
I think Joubert over Plushy is also a strecth and the reverse scenario is more likely, but it's my dream podium after all.. ;)
 
I really love the pictures, they're all looking so cute. :love: But my dream podium would be in a different order...
