Plushenko will honour us with his presence in 2010!

weeee you finished it sooner than 3 hours:clap:
yes i was always thinking that if Plush was in another continent he would have much MUCH more endorsments concidering his medal decoration or success. So far in europe it seems only him and lambiel are getting some kind of private sponsors, and not that big.
As far as I know in Russia you dont pay for ice time though, but thats it. Most icerinks have no heating system or zambonis, unless a medalist emerges from there and then they update it. For the rest I had no clue, I would expect gov to bow in front of fs athletes.

Yes, I was cross-eyed in the end from trying to read it fluently in original.. Of course after I got tired towards the second half, google translate came into help more often!
It is really annoying that they do not get good sponsorships, I know. Well at least I'm glad his tour took off despite the hinderances and as far as i know, he toured whole Europe (hopefully Turkey soon) and it was successful..

No he has said it again about toy elephant, in a post Euros interview. The one where he said, "oh i ll hung my euros medal and the elephant has plenty of room yet":p

about Turkey, he told us he want to expand his tour, and he said I ll come to Greece this time but i thought he meant for vacations cause we dont have a square meter of ice rink, unless his show comes at Christmas time and we have him skate in a shopping mall ice rink.:sheesh: I know Kings on Ice were to go in Turkey, I dont know want happened. He canceled most his euro tour after he started training.

Yes nadine, from all the goodies in the world I think their flag is the one who makes more skaters happy. They spot it fast:laugh: Plushy told us that. About making noise with stuff, pay attention to the audience in front of you:o

I want to go to Vancouveeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeer!

As far as I know he told the sponsors to arrange a date until 26th of september cos after that date he'd stop touring and wouldl be working on his training. However, the organizer told us that the sponsors backed out in the last minute due to the move of the event from Istanbul to Ankara (ice rink limitations as in Greece) so they had to cancel. Then Plushy management told them that he will continue the tour in April so the organizers promised us they'll arrange the event in April. Since then, we're on hold..:unsure:

What flag are you talking about here?:scratch:

I can't remember the reasons now but there was a tour that should have come to blackpool (of all places) shortly after the 2006 Olympics that should ahve had Plush and Totmianina&Marinin amongst others and it all fell apart at the last minute. Maybe if i'd finally been able to watch T&M and Plush live i'd have more of an appreciation of their skating?!

I can't remember but i think there were rumours of fallings out with people (maybe promoters?).

Anyway that's my woz robbed for the day

I think they did the post Olympic tour (paris bercy the hightlight!!!) i dont know why they didnt come there but i suspect it was because of you. Plushy got scared that instead of sitting back and enjoying you would count his spin revolutions and his edges and turns in footwork and he said' lets stay clear of that'

Hi, Nadine! It`s a bit late to answer, but I haven`t had internet access for quite a while. You really made me laugh with your "fine wine" comment, because that's exactly what I told my mum a few days ago, lol! By the way, "Schnaps" sounds quite homely for me. Are you German like me and Medusa???

Ooooooooh....is that why he's spinning so slowly now so that i can count them easily? :p

(i'm so gonna get my backside kicked what they hey...)

i m searching for my bat, give me a sec ...

nice timing by the way...:p

 Don't worry seniorita I will continue to keep a look out to see if any tour he is a part of comes to the UK so that I can go and check him out in person! I have to see him live (even a gala) at least once in my lifetime!

One of my all-time favorite programs of Evgeni is Once Upon A Time in America, seen here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ywkMDHkeOZs

Eighteen years old, and he blows the field away with the first ever 4T/3T/2R! Loved Peter Carruthers & Terry Gannon's comments. And he had the crowd clapping along with him on his journey through America, and standing before the end of the program.

Total confidence, total command of the performance, nary a hair out of place. One-of-a-kind. Evgeni The Great. No more need be said, except to say that he is even better at 27 years of age. Only he gets better as he ages, just like a fine wine, only gets better with time...
Nadine that's when I first began to like Evgeny...at the end of the program it looked like he was ready to cry. I used to think he was kind of an arrogant liitle snot but that program made me like him. I loved the rivarly between him and Alexei, it actually brought the best out both of them.

I am still upset with Evgeny over his 2006 Olympic LP performance. I felt cheated out of a good skate. I hope that this Olympic performance will be a good skate with choreography, unlike 2006 that consisted of just jumps.

;)he will!!!
I admit I laughed big time thinking plush spinning and you count with fingers, 1, 2, 3...:laugh:And i still laugh with the earth moving around comment:rofl:
but...:unsure:comeeeeeeeeeeeeeon, say one good word about his spins (ONE!), he came back and they are better than before, his sit is low, it is centered and it is fast, i swear I didnt fast forwarded the video!!!It goes slower when he tries the pancake...I mean one word is free, why cant you say ONE GOOD WORD?why ant, why why?:boohoo:

I was nice about his spins when i first saw his programmes!! i told you then that his front sit is much lower than it used to be and generally the sitspins are faster.

There more than one word!

I've been doing some research on Evgeni, lol, in regards to a present/gift to give him for ALL the years (more than decade's worth!) of unbelieveable enjoyment he has given me with his beautiful & exciting bravura style of skating.

So I read here ~ http://www.kingonice.com/interview16.htm ~ that he does have a huge stuffed toy elephant that he keeps all his medals on (i.e. whenever he wins a medal he puts it around said elephant's neck).

And I also read here ~ http://www.kingonice.com/interview3.htm ~ what dedicated Japanese fans he has (one time a group of them came all the way from Tokyo to St. Petersburg to spend the day with him; they drove all over the city, went to museums, reserved a table in his honor for both him & his mother & his coach at a restaurant, etc.). And they follow him all over the world & give him various gifts ~ gold jewelry, photographs, clothes, flowers, even dedicate sites in his honor. I loved reading that!

Unfortunately, I am unable to do anything like the Japanese fans do, but I'm hoping my small gift will convey my token of appreciation for all the joy he has given me over the years. There is one specific jeweler I go to (no one else) when I buy presents for loved ones & friends & family. I plan to go to this jeweler to purchase a gift for Evgeni attached to a stuffed elephant, lol, I hope he likes it....

:love:GOOOOOOOO EVGENI!!!!

Japanese and korean fs fans are something else..i dont think i ve met so sweet and polite people before. I had a chance to be around them in Moscow. They have a nickname for Evgeni "Sunny boy" or something like this. They give him the best gifts, best of all is his collections of bears with all his costumes on and the little diamonds with his figure inside. Concerning Plushy many of them they plan to fly to vancouver and back just to support him in Lp. Insane in the best way.

Nadine, dont buy Plush anything expensive, he doesnt need it, buy him a fluffy animal with a cute message! ...Or you can throw me on the ice:o

Thanx for the article Ximena, interesting!!
I was pretty fine after Euros and until this week, now every single page about Olys has a countdown clock and it freaks me out. Thats why I will watch only the Lp and only after I hear that Plush has 40.27 points lead after the short.:boohoo:

Plushy and Stephan gala practices, i have a nice memory of them, because arena was almost empty and most skaters had gone and the ice was blue, very nice feeling to watch them!:)And that was funny because plush didnt know what he is supposed to do and was chasing them from behind, actually i found in this channel many backstage stuff!

and this is hilarious, my fav moment, plush was making his pr with ladies there and forgot his job again and the choreographer shouts him from micro for like 3rd time and the other guys also dont pay attention to their turn and try to make fun of ladies and try to put their skate to their ear:laugh: Stephan is the star of video!

Great article, Ximena, the absolute best one I've read thus far (right on)!!!!

As for me, after much hard work these past two weeks, I've finally managed to obtain two premier tickets ~ Category A, lower bowl/near the ice, unobstructed view, best seats in the house ~ also near enough for me to throw a stuffed elephant with attached jewelry onto the ice after he skates!

I'm sooooooooo excited & nervous I can hardly type, and that's the truth. Lol, if I'm this nervous already I honestly can't imagine what a wreck I will be at the actual event when he skates. I know I'll be holding onto my 12 yr. old baby niece every second, trying to remain calm & Zen like, and have her record everything on her & my cell phones (besides taking pics of course), as she knows how to do all that fancy computer stuff in order to upload it to a site. I know how to download pics & upload them & post them on this forum, but I don't know anything about downloading videos, which is why I have never been able to do so on youtube.com :(

God works in mysterious ways, it looks like I'm going to be attending my first Olympic Games to see one of my favorite male skaters of all-time skate at the Olympics. Thank you, God.

:clap:GOOOOOOO EVGENI!!!!

You have tickets for SP and LP?

Happy trip, be as strong as Plushy, and be more noisy than Canadians!

What can I say you... when I been in Moscow on GP Rostelecom Cup, I took a tranquilizer pill, chew gum (so I almost broke the jaw) .... and again I have stomach ache :disapp: .... until Plushy not started to skate.... then it suddenly disappeared any fright and pain, remain only a heat and excitement

Be BRAVE! :agree:

(what problems you have with youtube - to upload or download videos? Send me a PM with a description of your problem ;-)

I find this cute photos of Mishin ad Evgeni's:
http://img63.imageshack.us/img63/1329/1319cc1a4b6ae9996c930d2.jpg

I think this is the beginning of the morning practice (on day of competition LP) ... after he jumped 4-3-2 combo, Plushy went to Mishin, wipe nose, something said to Mishin's, laughed, and while it went "something" fell on the ice ... Mishin's beret?

Awww, cute pic, cute plushy and papa mishin rocks!

I took a tranquilizer pill, chew gum (so I almost broke the jaw) .... and again I have stomach ache ....

ahem...and almost smashed my hand from pressure, you forgot that?:p
Why do you think I stayed a little seats more far now at european championship?

Nadine I wish you have the best of fun! :clap:Cheer Plushy and all skaters and for us, although I will make a pretty good effort to be heard till there! You ll see many plushyfans in Lp, you ll spot them easily!;)
