Actually, I am not "part of that little clique". You'll remember that I was one of the ones on here criticising their brainless screaming at Skate America for Ashley's and Adam's completely empty short programs. Patrick has made it quite clear his only interest in Max is the view from behind, and he is quite happy to continue spreading misinformation about him, so why would I consider myself part of his "clique"?

and holy sit i remember that, that was annoying!! i went to watch videos and their shrill screaming was so obnoxious and disrespectful.

agreed, I'm hoping they decide to go to a West Coast Stars on Ice show so I don't have to hear them screaming in the one I attend.

I'm glad you guys are having some good experiences with the stream. I guess they really picked up their game after the SLC debacle. I hope this holds up through the weekend!

I haven't heard of this debacle. I hope it stay good too. I mainly need it for the weekday competitions, the free skates are all readily available for me on NBC.

I know at least the PDD guy is, I think the rest are from the Boston area.
And my original post you quoted had a typo in it initially. It was supposed to say I hope they go to a N. California show b/c I don't want to have to hear their shrill annoying screams all through Stars at one of the more eastern US shows.

I hope the same! If I actually make it to Stars on Ice this year I want to enjoy it!

what was the final cost when you used the code? right now if i go on IN it says 49.99 for a seasons pass...so w/ the code i should expect it to be 24.99? (not sure if the 49.99 price advertised is already 50% off or not that's why)

It was $24.99.

It should be 24.99, enter the code and hit I think the apply and it should update. It looked to be a 1-day thing based on that twitter flyer.

For me, I have always appreciated Dave Lease/Jennifer Kirk/The skating lesson. I have truly learned a lot from them, skating/technique-wise. But I also consider them more of an inside blogger/color commentary than impartial journalists. But most of the journalists who cover skating have a distinct point of view anyway.

I enjoy reading about the practice reports, so I thank everyone for reporting/posting links. I cannot wait to read more. I hope Ashley/Mirai make the world team!

Agree. Don't curse the messenger. For those of us who are not on site, it's great to hear something about the skaters at practices.

I have enjoyed watching TSL since I found them but I understand that they are baised. It happens with every kind of reporter. TSL now is not as great withoit Jenny, I haven't enjoyed some of Daves guests while others are good, but Jenny had charisma and such great knowledge. I really think they balanced each other out in a sense.
 
My goodness, the US are truly spoiled for choice in the Ice Dance. The level of the top 5-6 teams are incredible.
