Yay, Mao and Brian are really looking strong! They shouldn't have any problem to make the podium.
But where's Team USA? They suffer the biggest jet lag, it's not a good idea to arrive just couple of days before the competition.

But the problem is if you arrive too early, you will not be able to find location to have intensive training.

I think Nakano looks lovely. I don't think she's any more out of proportion than Sasha Cohen, who has VERY short legs, and I doubt you would say Sasha looks ridiculous.

It's interesting that when I saw Sasha Cohen the first time at 2002 Olympics, I thought she was not very pretty because she had short legs. After she changed her coach to Tatiana Tarasova, all her costumes designed to hide this disadvantage. I had never felt her legs short ever since.

Looked pretty good to me. She also landed one at 2002 Skate America. It was ratified under 6.0 judging. I couldn't tell whether it was fully rotated or not.

Also, her leg wrap is not so noticeable on her Axel.

Some Japanese media say Oda may try 4Lz in his program. I don't believe he can actually land it, anyway, if he can make 3.5 revolutions and avoid falling, he may manage 6 points at best. That's better than another 2A or downgraded 4T (4T<).

That's a great strategy! He should suggest it to Jeff Buttle. Why get 5 points for falling on a quad toe when you can get 7 for falling on a quad Lutz!
