Prices @ Savvis Center

I know food is expensive at any arena but a co-worker just went to a concert last weekend in St.Louis and a bottle of water was $4.75 bottle size don't know, she didn't know about any thing else just water because that's what she was wanting. she didn't buy it but said they did have water fountains. So guess if you can sneek in a bottle of ice from the hotel.

In Atlantic City, the Starbucks was 3 bucks in a smaller non Starbucks container.

I normally try to smuggle stuff in..I have never been to an arena for an all day event so never had to buy much. I have to say that water is expensive everywhere, but the Savvis has much better prices and policies on beer than other stadiums. I normally get myself a kosher hotdog with all the trimmings and it is $4.50. Same thing is at least $6 at the Yankees stadium. I think the beer is 6 bucks or so but it's a full pint as opposed to 8 oz beer at Fenway.

Prices are ridiculous at all venues, I think.

At ice shows, I tend to try not to drink anything so I won't need to go to the ladies room.....I'll just sip from my husbands soda.

Thank goodness the ball park lets you bring in sandwiches and non-alcoholic drinks in plastic bottles. We go to several Phillies games a year and with the price of tickets and bridge toll and parking, we really need that little bit of savings of bringing our own beverage and sandwich in.

Jhar55, I think different venues, just like different restaurants, have their "official" drink....There are usually non-cola choices as well, such as ice-tea. You might be able to look up the venue you're going to website to find out what is offered at concession stands, or maybe call.

When we went to US Nat's in Philly in '98, the soda's tasted like icky city water....too much ice and not enough soda I think, so the melted ice took over the flavor. We found out after the first day that we could bring our own drinks in....but since 9/11, I don't think most the type of venues ice shows/competitions/concerts are in allow you to bring any kind of drink container in.

Sorry, the official drink is Pepsi - which I also dislike. I can't recall a single arena where they sell something other than Pepsi. I think Pepsi has a monopoly there! In fact, there are 2 stadiums that I can think of that even have Pepsi as the official name!

At least "pepsi" brand water is not too bad. I think it's either $3.50 or $3.75. Try to snick your own in your coat - generally security checks only the purses/sacks amd the likes.

9 times out of 10 Coke is the official product

though I'm pretty sure last year both coke and pepsi were there

with MK's new endorsement I wouldn't be surprised if Coke set up shop at nationals
