They use the music by Prokofiev, Bach, Mozart, Mendelssohn and some new music, as always. Roman Ignatiev writes the new music for Averbukh and unites all the parts.

My wife and mother in law went to see R&J. They said they were overwhelmed by the show and that Averbukh is a genius.

Ilya made this show for the people who are in holiday in Sochi. They came there from every part of the huge Russia. Most of them didn't watch any figure skating competitions or shows. They love every show especially if that is a beautiful story and music

Averbukh doesn't think, that he may come with any show to Sochi and be successful all summer long. He wants the viewers tell later their friends and people on the beach, that the show is great. Though of course, many of them don't know much about the figure skating.

I just started watching figure skating in 2020 and it may be too late to say it here, but really, your posts have helped me a lot! R&J is now my FAVORITE stage show! So bad I can't understand Russian and thus don't know the lyrics, but the performance is good enough and already beyond language anyway
