I have been searching a bit and I cant find any good historical standard. In theory if I wanted to buy tickets to Milan. Women's SP/FS. How much would the tickets go for resold? Could be front row, or not. Just anything with reasonable viewing.

Also are skating Olympics even worth attending anyways? I wonder if the visibility is poor without perfect seating. How is the energy? Has anyone gone before? I have never been much for live events in any sport but, there are some athletes that seeing them in person would be extremely special.

It's good. It's one of the few skating events you'll attend with a presumably soldout crowd, which is cool.

On the flip side, though, there are a lot of folks in the audience who aren't skating fans, and are just there because it's the Olympics. So that subdues the energy somewhat.

Personally, I was tempted to go to Milan to support Adeliya, but given the possibility that we're going to see judging bias and manipulation (against Adeliya and even skaters like Mone, and for skaters like Alysa) that exceeds even Sochi, I couldn't convince myself to pull the trigger. After what we saw at Boston Worlds, I have little faith in the ISU to hold a legitimate event. And my heart would break after experiencing such a thing live.

I'll wait until 2030, which has the potential to be an all-timer, assuming the Russian ban is fully over by then. (Some mix of Elena Kostyleva, Liza Andreeva, Margarita Bazylyuk, Victoria Streltsova, Alena Prineva, Sofia Dzepka, Lidia Pleskacheva...)

From my experience with Worlds, GP stages are by far better experience as longa as you get a stage with skaters you really want to see. They often skate better, and the seating is great, less really small children and drinking/eating in the audience.
