Riddles and Figure Skating

I represented 3 countries,
but mostly lived in 1.
I won medals at worlds, both junior and senior and on the jgp/gp circuit
I won medals at nationals from 2 of the 3 countries I represented,
but never at my own birthplace nationals

who am i ?

Vanessa James?
i guess it could have been her
3 countries : check. (UK singles, Pairs, France and Canada
With Radford/Cipres, she did get world medals
With Cipres, she got GP medals
She never won a medal in her birth country nationals (Canada) (she won them at UK and France)
But she doesn't have a junior career ;) so it cannot be her.

However, you are very close !

According to Wikipedia, she did have a short junior career as a singles skater for GB, but no international Jr medals.

NOTE to all readers: anyone else is welcome to take a stab at this one, using the additional clues!

so you need someone with successes in both junior and senior :) i have to say that Vanessa was a very good guess as she fit almost all the clues ;)

I guess i have to give you one more hint.

I was born in Canada. :)

which means that now you know this person didn't win a National medal at Canadian nationals...

Mervin Tran? Countries: Japan, Canada, USA.
Bravo
Won Junior worlds for Japan.
Won Junior GPS for Japan (including the Final)
Won senior Worlds bronze for Japan and some GP medals for Japan
Won senior Nationals for Japan (4 times) (all with Takahashi)
Won nothing as a Canadian skater (with Purich, one season only)
Won two medals at Senior Nationals for USA (with Castelli)

Also, though, in the end, Mervin moved to the USA, most of his time was spent training in Montreal. :) He never lived in Japan which was going to be tough for him if he ever had wanted citizenship.

Mervin now coaches in the USA.
