We skate in the same discipline.
We were born in the same county.
We both skated for for same 3 countries, none of them the country of our birth.
But note: we didn't skate for the 3 countries in the same order.

I absolutely cannot win it, even though I am Canadian, for several reasons. I can't skate and am much too old, and that's just the beginning!

i was having a hard time making connections... a few skaters have done 2 or 3 countries, but for them to line up... that was hard

The unused clue (after you got Allison) was that they actually had a partner in common. That would have been easy to research.
