It is "second sort" Junior Nationals. Sochi, olympic training ice rink.

Juniors, all 4 disciplines, singles 2002-2006 years of birth, pairs and dance male born at 2000 and younger, female born at 2002 and younger.
Entries are formed at regional competitions, so young skaters of "non-top" regions (i.e. not Moscow and StPetersburg) may show their talents and have chance to move to famous coaches (if talented enough).

Medalists are treated as pretenders to JGP next season, and pretend to Junior Reserve part of national team.

Guess who's pissed after checking the archived stream to find out that 1)the stream cut when Sonya and Sasha was being announced so only the second half of their RD was available and 2)there was no audio  Like, there was audio for the worst cover of Roxanne ever (I literally clapped my hands to my ears before hurriedly pressing mute), I'm guessing technical difficulties but :curse: Anyway, Davai Sonya and Sasha, win this thing and get your JGP spots

honey and milk should do the trick

I woke up twice last night because my throat hurt so much, the wonders of modern medicine did the trick for me but thanks

I will forever hate you stream for skipping during Sonya and Sasha's twizzles

Silver, I'm a bit disappointed but since I didn't really get to see how they did (shrugs) I hope they get good JGPs

Pairs... I don't know, I watched about half of the SP yesterday before my throat started acting up, maybe I'll do that too. Kinda depends on how long my meds last.

Since there are 14 JGP spots for Russia in ID and S/E, K/N, and Kuts/Mikhailov are aging out... let's see, two for U/N and also Liza and Devid (aka Shanaeva/Narzhnyy) are certain so that's 10 left, at RusJrNats Andreeva/Desyatov and Ivaneko/Karpov were ahead of Sonya and Sasha (Katashinskaya/Vaskovich were behind them there btw), and there's Davis/Smolkin too... Hmm, methinks Sonya and Sasha are (deservedly) going to get two JGP spots.

Edit: forgot Khavronina/Chirizano, the winners of the junior Russian Cup Final. Are they in consideration? Maybe they and Mamchenkova/Volkov will get one spot each?
