Not a good triple flip triple loop from Kimmie in the warmup. Just not enough rotation.

You never know what can happen. But honestly, she skates really really slow and her jumps are little... two with wrong edge deductions. So if she doesn't medal, I'm sure she'll still be proud of how she skated and will go back home and work on things.

Caroline skated beautifully. I don't have a tachometer.

caroline is totally a figher. she just showed as that. and presence in spade. in fairness, she is slow and both axels were noticably so....but my god - breathtaking true beauty on ice.

they were awed by the beauty - purity of it - while subtly admitting she isn't yet 'there' for jumps and power - saying, who cares is she gets a wrong edge deduction, that was special....and it really was. I'll be thrilled for her no matter what her final placement.

this Hawker has great line...extension, really beatiful spiral...but looks a bit like she is thinking it through....they commentators mentioned her straight back, and athleticism.

Not bad at all. She has some nice qualities. They are right, her back is as straight as they get and they do help her hang onto jumps she might otherwise not hang onto.
