fumie_fumie you are the best :rock::clap:

Thanks so much for the pbp!!!!

Go Fedor!!!! He's probably the most artistic man out there next to Jeff Buttle, and I just love watching him skate! Btw, did anyone notice his SP was choreopgraphed by T. Virtue? I wonder if they're dating or something! :)

skating history made

enthusiastic crowd, watching the history made

kevin reynolds performed 4t-3t-3l that have never done before.

warmup for the final flight is well underway...

Evgeny Plushenko has done that combo before in ISU competition, or are you just saying it's never been done at Canadian Nationals? Good for Kevin Reynolds! He is such a talented jumper!!

13 Shawn Sawyer QC

best of shawn sawyer, he knows what is at stake

moments in love,

signature spin to start, dynamic performance
3f-3t
3a, slight 2footed landing, in such a tight competition, this will hold him down, just not high enough in the air
connections between elements are excellent,
2a
spin, in both directions, very flexible skater
3lz, fight for landing
3l, 3l series, landing could have been better
spiral, sasha cohen will be envious
3f-2t-2l
dynamic straight step sequence
3t, not enough height
2a
spin to conclude the program, good as ever.

singled lutz, doubled 3t.

fumie's LP music

3a-2t good
3f-2t landing could have been better.
3lz-2t-2l tight on landing
spin, good, fast
circular, very sophisticated, good choreo
camel to sit spin
1lz, ouch, rushed the timing
spread eagle
3s nice
staight sequence, intricate, tessa did a good job choreography
sit spin
2a
camel spin to sit spin.

podium might be out of reach. national team is still a possibility. lost steam in 2/3 of the program.

YEAH!!!!!!! GO SHAWN! Thank goodness, he held it together today; he should feel good! Still very tough competition to go!!

Thanks so much fumie_fumie for the reports!:clap:

Way to go, Fedor! It's amazing how he has maintained his composure despite being away from the sport for so long.:bow:

Ouch, Fedor currently in 4th . . . does that seem fair to those who are able to watch the programs?

15 Vaughn Chipeur AB/NT/NU

hands-down on 3a, he is out of control in the air, massive power that he's gotta control
3f-2t
3lz, beautiful
3l, 2footed, little under-rotated
1a, planned 3a, that hurt him big time
doughnut spin, sit spin
3s out of nowhere, quite an athlete,
3lz, 2t, 2l, way to go vaughn,
straight step sequence, building momentum
beautiful, huge 2a
camel, sitspin, scratch spin,

he looked disappointed. Maybe, pressure got to him.

You know, I'm glad Shawn Sawyer is making his presence known and making the press eat their words. In all the articles I've read for Canadians, he has been completely ignored when talking about the men to watch. It would be SO COOL if he could reach the podium. He should have been on the podium last year instead of Sandhu too!

16 Christopher Mabee WO

trip to the worlds is slipping away from him.

skates to sing, sing, sing, and he was thinking throughout the program
3f, no 3t, goodbye to combo
handdown on 3a
3lz, toying with the idea of tacking another jump
camel, sit spin
audience friendly gesture
sit spin
1a, planned 3a, he opened the door here.
3lz-2t combo, great
sit spin
connecting elements, he was drifting in and out of music,
3l, solid
straight step sequence, he is coming alive.
sitspin/scratch spin

he is mad at himself.

Me too! I'm sad for Fedor, but he proved that he is still competent, so better luck next year. I'm soooooo happy for Shawn!

YESSSSSSS! Shawn Sawyer at the very least has a bronze!! SO HAPPY FOR HIM!!!:bow::clap::rock:
